Adopted or thinking of adopting a dog?

This is a great thing to do if done correctly. However, here at All About Dogs we have had numerous clients over the years who have come to us with problems specific to re-homed dogs.

When you decide which dog you are going to adopt you have met them and decided they are for you. What you do not realise at this point is that the dog (personality wise) that you are taking home will be a completely different dog in six months time. Yes, it is true they come home the perfect house guest and as they get their paws under the table their true personality comes out. If you give the right messages from day one this is not a problem. Dogs that are already experiencing problems can also be dealt with the same messages. These programmes are designed based on years of experience by our behaviourist.
This course is designed for those thinking about adopting and those who have adopted. For those thinking about adopting we teach you how to assess a dog to determine character and how to identify potential dominant, fearful and submissive characters; all such characteristics will need work and we inform you what you would need to do as the new owner adopting this dog.

For those thinking of or who have just adopted or owners of adopted dogs who are displaying behavioural problems we show you to introduce your dog to your home and how to become the person that your dog looks to and listens to; how to give your dog silent messages that have a big impact.

At the end of the course you will have all the knowledge you need and a programme designed to help you get it right from day one or deal with any problems that you are already experiencing.
