Aggression
Aggression is one of the main reason dogs are euthanized or rehomed. A large percentages of all dogs in rescue centre’s are there because of the incidence of aggression in one form or another. It is actually unusual to have a dog that is being aggressive to only have one type of aggression problem.
This is a matter that you cannot deal with alone you need professional help. Whether the aggression is directed towards other animals or people it needs to be addressed as soon as you become aware of the problem.
NEVER IGNORE AGGRESSION
It would be wise before starting on any program of aggressive behaviour modification, to rule out any medical reasons for that behaviour, especially if there is a sudden change in the dog’s temperament. There are some fifty-odd different medical reasons why a dog may be showing aggressive tendencies, these range from Pain to Thyroid Dysfunction, Epilepsy Hypoglycemiaand Diabetes
